A Family Law Firm

The Holmes name is not new to Mississippi law. Attorney Paul H. “Bud” Holmes is Margaret’s father and was a prominent attorney who served the legal needs of the people of Hattiesburg for decades. In fact, Margaret is a third generation attorney.

Being a small family business, we are able to keep your best interest and your bottom line at the forefront of all that we do. Local Attorney Margaret Holmes

Originally from Hattiesburg, firm principal Margaret Holmes graduated from Hattiesburg High. Margaret has been practicing law since 2003. She attended Tulane University and Texas Southern Law School in Houston, Texas. Upon moving back to Mississippi, Margaret took over as lead attorney with The Holmes Law Firm, P.A.. Previously she was a litigation paralegal for 12 years. This experience provided a deep understanding of how law firms and the court systems work. Paralegal Brenda Roberts has over 15 years of legal experience and is a lifelong member of the Petal community.
